SWRG is an umbrella group for student chapters of both AIH and AWRA. Joining or participating in SWRG activities is free however you are encouraged to become a student member of one of our parent national organizations. There are many benefits to becoming a student member of a professional organization, including reduced conference fees, and increased networking opportunities. Officers of SWRG must be members of one of the national professional organization.

SWRG is not just for environmental scientists. SWRG is an interdispinary group with current members stemming from limnnology, civil engineering, and ESR.
